Senior Manual Testing Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manual Testing Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong manual testing knowledge and will be responsible for leading a team of 3-6 members while also engaging in hands-on testing activities. The candidate must be well-versed in Agile methodologies and sprint ceremonies, ensuring that the team adheres to best practices in software testing. Proficiency in Jira and Postman is essential, while experience with QTest is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 3-6 manual testers, providing guidance and support in testing activities.
• Conduct hands-on manual testing of software applications, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and develop test plans.
• Participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Utilize Jira for tracking defects, managing test cases, and reporting on testing progress.
• Employ Postman for API testing and validation of backend services.
• Ensure adherence to testing standards and best practices within the team.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide regular updates and reports on testing status to stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong expertise in Manual Testing.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and sprint ceremonies.
• Proficient in Jira for test case management and defect tracking.
• Experience with Postman for API testing.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with QTest for test management.
• Experience in leading and mentoring testing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on manual testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced Agile environment.
