About The Role
The Senior Professional, Software Engineering at Cargill plays a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated software applications and integration solutions that support the company's operational needs. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, IT specialists, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, efficient, and high-quality technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in integration platforms, particularly Dell Boomi, and possess the ability to lead automation initiatives, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure seamless data flow across diverse systems. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience working with Dell Boomi, with a total IT experience of at least 10 years, preferably in the integration domain. Proven expertise in designing and developing cloud-based and on-premises integration solutions is essential. Candidates should have a thorough understanding of integration patterns, connectors, and best practices, along with experience in automation and CI/CD pipelines. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are critical. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is typically required.
Responsibilities
• Design and develop high-quality integration solutions utilizing Dell Boomi, ensuring code is clean, maintainable, and scalable across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Lead automation efforts for deployment processes using Boomi’s AtomSphere platform and internal CI/CD tools, facilitating reliable and efficient releases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and engineers, to gather complex integration requirements and deliver effective solutions that align with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive testing frameworks for Boomi processes, including unit and integration tests, to ensure system robustness and performance.
• Perform debugging, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting for complex integration issues, minimizing system downtime and ensuring operational stability.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in integration processes, platform stability, and scalability, staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for integration workflows, deployment procedures, and system configurations to support operational transparency and team knowledge sharing.
• Provide technical support and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative environment for best practices and skill development.
